Stony Point Metal Works (SPMW) was formed by two long-time friends – a machinist/fabricator and an engineer.
The original idea was to purchase a small plasma table to fabricate parts for personal projects. Over the course of five or so years, the idea evolved into a fully functioning metal cutting and fabrication shop. In early 2022, the decision was made, and Stony Point Metal Works was formed.
Well, because we are located in the Stony Point area of Perry County Arkansas – just a few miles from
Toad Suck (yes, it’s a real place). And we work with metal, so the last part was pretty easy.
